#nepalvotes
people started lining up in most voting centers across nepal at 7:00AM NST on 19th November 2013. bombs and injuries reported in the capital city as well as major cities
santosh pradhan … bibeksheel … or is it?
think …
25 years old and playing with 7 crore since 2 years in commodity market. they say hes got maoists money, its prachandas money ad hence his group belongs to the maoists
us degree in question! he never said masters or bachelors it seems or a certificate.
nevertheless he became the most controversial matter over social media in the last hour
one thing is for sure, he scared the poopy out of gagan.
maoist or rpp may take advantage, even suprava
who let these dogs out? who sponsored bibeksheel?
think ….
is it maoists?
is it baburam?
is it suprava?
is it rpp?
or is it the peoples frustation?
why gagan thapa lost? or almost lost ? or whatever?
if gagan loses – had it not been for his own foolishness challenging terrorist supreme commander, he would have won. had it not been suprava tossed out, he would have won. had it not been bibeksheel he would have won
if he almost lost (even if he wins , its a loss) -had it not been bibeksheel he would have had a reputed chance like suprava in 08

kurshi fight – and the dog barks
nepal is in the limelight now, with 5 hours to its second constitutional assembly elections. having burped roughly $1 billion in the name of drafting the constitution, almost same incompetent team are making their never-ending youth debut again and again. with 240 direct polls seats to vice for, the major heavy weights congress, communists, hardliners, hard yet softliners and nationalists are competing against each other reaching out to each voters, but without repenting for the past nor seeking forgiveness but demanding that they be reinstated with thier full time, bonus paying, foreign trips generating dillidallying job. the much aware people of this tiny himalayan nation confusingly enjoy the limelight they are thrown in every election, every time hoping for change, chasing the dreams thrown like a bone to a dog, yet nothing constructs.
speaking of dogs, four local breeds of dogs are contesting in the election from the capital city of katmandu. four well educated enternprenuers sans wannabe leaders of a better nepal are contesting in the elections from katmandu. all four are independent, yet they share a same election symbol-the dog, all four are independent candidates in 4 of the 10 regions of katmandu, yet they share a same social campaign, bibeksheelnepali – literally sensible nepalese. at least they are putting ‘sense’ in their names.
notable reviews on the dog party:
huffingtonpost – Amidst all odds, a group of determined youth is setting on a long and arduous journey to change all of that. In what appears to be a deeply entrenched syndicated political conundrum that systematically discourages young and aspiring youth from taking leadership roles, a group of educated and dedicated youth is beginning to chip away elite capture and steal the elections in four of the Kathmandu’s much watched constituencies. Victory in the November elections will surely upset the political establishment in Kathmandu, and that is what they are precisely looking to do. Their hope is that such a victory will unleash a nation-wide movement to bring youth from every part of the country to finally defeat the old and evil parties that have cheated too often. However, many young volunteers at Bibeksheel finally see the dawn of a new era in Nepali politics. Their hope is that this will be the time when people will at last say enough to the old bickering and endorse a new thinking and a new set of leadership to tip Nepal to a bright era of “prosperity”! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/subhash-ghimire/rise-of-a-new-force-nepal_b_4171659.html
the hindustantimes blogs “will the dog wag its tail in katmandu?”- Like the Aam Aadmi Party which is contesting the Delhi assembly polls, Bibeksheel Nepali is focusing only on Kathmandu Valley and has fielded independent candidates in four of the 10 parliamentary constituencies in Nepal’s capital. http://blogs.hindustantimes.com/kurakani-in-kathmandu/2013/11/13/will-the-dog-wag-its-tail-in-kathmandu/
the nepali times writes “why the nepali kukur (dog) will vote for bhote kukur (himalayan dog)” – Bibeksheel Nepalis may be limited to a young urban base at the moment, and it is only too easy to dismiss them along with the various social media movements their four candidates have been associated with. They must reach out, and this I believe they are trying to do with whatever resources they have, inasmuch as independent candidates are allowed to do so by the competing thugs of major parties. http://www.nepalitimes.com/blogs/nepalikukur/2013/11/01/why-nepalikukur-will-bhote-for-kukur/
ujwal thapa , santosh pradhan , pukar bam , govinda timsina are the four candidates whose fate katmanduites decide tonight and also decide the fate of a neo political force led by youth in nepal.
